Beginning Sight Word Reading Series One:
Beginning Sight Word Reading Series One has been designed to apply mastered sight word skills from the Reading Hook Series to identical readers in Series One. However, two characters, Michael and Kristy, are introduced in Series One. Subsequently, all illustrations reflect the worlds of Michael and Kristy. Beginning Sight Word Reading Series One acts as a "relief" series with the introduction of no new skills. This reading sequence affords each student with an opportunity to maintain a success level while providing remediation for short-term and long-term memory, as well as practice in transferring mastered sight word skills to a new set of readers with identified characters.
